Ruby & Friends
Ruby
A curious little girl with ginger pigtails, a pink hibiscus flower and her favourite yellow dress. Ruby is kind, brave and always ready to help.
About Ruby & Friends
Ruby & Friends is a small, independent kids' channel from Mauritius. We make short sing-along songs about kindness and good manners for children aged 2 to 6, and animated adventures for ages 4 to 8, every one in English and French.
Meet the friends
Ti-Mo
Ruby's best friend, a small brown mouse with a green scarf. In our first songs he was simply called Mouse. Ti-Mo is funny, a little bit cheeky and very loyal.
What we believe
- Short and gentle: 1 to 2 minutes, calm music, nothing scary.
- Learning through songs: please and thank you, sorry, sharing, festivals and nature.
- Proudly Mauritian: our stories are full of Mauritian places, animals and festivals.
- Two languages: every song and film in English and French.
How we make it
Each story and song is written for young children by a person. AI tools help create the music and animation, and every video is then checked frame by frame, edited and mixed by hand before it is published. Our videos are marked as AI-generated on YouTube and TikTok.
